The Mini Implant Center
Your Jaw Bones Are Dissolving Away
Your Facial Structure Is Collapsing
You Can't Eat Foods You Love
Social Embarrassment
Discomfort And Painful Eating
Sticky, Gooey Adhesives Needed
Now you might think I'm being overly dramatic, but that's because you haven't seen the things I've seen.
Once the teeth are removed, your jawbones begin slowly dissolving away. I've been a practicing dentist for over 30 years, and I can tell you there is nothing worse than seeing a patient with dentures who:
-- Can't smile
-- Can't eat
-- Hates how they look because their face has collapsed
-- Is a social recluse because they are too embarrassed to see anyone or go anywhere without teeth.
And worst of all are the cases where nothing can be done anymore because too much bone has already been destroyed... because they waited too long to look for help.
In the old days, there was nothing to be done except suffer with dentures. But many years ago dental implants came on the scene, and this was a real life changing treatment.
But the majority of people have not taken advantage of dental implants and so still suffer with all the problems with dentures.
And that's because there are some serious drawbacks with conventional implants...
COST - A conventional implant and crown to replace one tooth can cost $5000 or more. Placing multiple conventional implants with teeth can cost $35,000 - $50,000, or more.
Not Enough Bone - because of their larger size, conventional implants require a lot of bone to be present and often times their just isn't enough.
Need for sinus surgery or bone graft surgery- Often times conventional implants cannot be placed unless bone grafting surgery or sinus lift surgery is completed first. This is another large expense with extensive healing times.
Risk Of Failure - One of the main treatments with conventional implants is the "all-on-4" procedure where 4 implants are placed with teeth on top. The problem is that if one of these implants fail, the case is doomed... and that's a lot of money down the drain.
Extended treatment times up to a year or more.
OK... So if ...
You don't want to suffer with existing denture problems,
You don't want to stand idly by and watch your jaw bones dissolve away,
You don't want to deal with the high expense, risk, surgery, and extended healing times of previous options...
What's The Answer??
Mini dental implants are a smaller, simpler version of conventional implants, and they offer some significant advantages:
They can be placed in most areas without bone grafting or surgery
Minimal discomfort after placement
No extended healing time
You can eat on them the same day
They are significantly less expensive than the older options
Stop your jaws bones from being destroyed - Once teeth are removed the jaw bones slowly dissolve away. Implants can stop that process.
Stop your face from collapsing - Being with dentures too long leaves you with that "old" collapsed face look.
Get rid of your lousy dentures - Let's face it, dentures are a giant pain - you can't eat, and it's all that bulky plastic in your mouth.
Eat what you want again - Life's too short to not be able to eat the things you love. Bite an apple, eat corn on the cob and steak again.
Don't have the roof of your mouth covered in plastic - Taste your food, and feel the texture and temperature again.
No more messy adhesives - Gooey adhesives taste bad, cause gagging, and need to be reapplied often.
Not being able to smile how you want to adversely affects every area of your life.
LOWER DENTURE STABILIZATION - This is our most affordable option. We place 4 mini implants and make dentures that snap onto them. You can see more about this HERE.
IMPLANT DENTURES - We place 6-8 mini implants and make dentures that snap onto them. Your palate is not covered with plastic and many other advantages you can see here.
HYBRID IMPLANT DENTURES - Similar to implant dentures except we add a metal framework which makes them stronger, thinner, and with less plastic. Watch the video for more details.
HYBRID IMPLANT BRIDGE - The teeth stay in all the time, but we can remove them easily in the office for cleaning and maintenance. Watch the video for details.
ALL ON 10 CEMENTED IMPLANT BRIDGE - Our top of the line option. A bridge is cemented onto the implants. This is as close as you can get to having your real teeth back. Watch the video for details.
These are all great options! Which one to use depends on:
What you can afford.
Whether you want permanent or removable teeth.
How many implants we can place based on your remaining bone. (The longer you wait, the more bone is lost, and the less options you have)
So in an ideal world, we would replace your dentures with a permanent bridge cemented on 8-12 implants. This obviously is the most expensive option.
If you don't have enough bone for that many implants, OR you need a less expensive option, then we can place 6-8 implants with implant dentures, hybrid dentures, or the hybrid bridge... again depending on affordability.
For the lower arch only, we can place 4 implants with an implant denture and this is our most affordable option.
I founded my first Mini Implant Center 12 years ago with the purpose of lowering the cost of implant dentistry, so I could help all the people who didn't realize that by having teeth removed, they started down a path with a bad ending.
We use mini dental implants to replace to replace lousy dentures with teeth that actually work, and at a fraction of the cost of conventional implants!
In this age of large clinics and corporate dentistry, our small, friendly, high tech office offers something different. No cutting corners. No cheaper materials. No shortening the appointment times. No running from room to room like a high volume clinic.
We treat you like a human being, not a widget.
